Gmail rollouts often take some time to complete, with Google today making official the new “Manage subscriptions” feature that lets you easily unsubscribe.
This “Manage subscriptions” list shows your “active subscriptions sorted by the most frequent senders alongside the number of emails they’ve sent you in the past few weeks.” This can include deal alerts, newsletters, promotional emails, and more.
Find it in the navigation drawer just underneath Trash. Tapping on a sender and address shows all their emails, while you can tap the button at the right to quickly unsubscribe and confirm: “Gmail will send an unsubscribe request to the sender on your behalf.”
Some Gmail users have had Manage subscriptions since April, but it’s not yet widely rolled out. As of today, Manage subscriptions is “rolling out now on web, Android and iOS to select countries.” It will be fully available in the coming weeks for “all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual Subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.”
