Through recent updates, Android Auto seems to be removing its “GameSnacks” collection of games that were available to play on the car’s display.
“added to Android Auto back in 2021.
But, suddenly, it seems to be disappearing.
Last month, when parked was shown in error frequently.
So far, stable Android Auto updates have yet to remove the feature, but more users are noticing the change as threads have been Google’s support forums. In those cases, it’s unclear what Android Auto version is installed, so it’s hard to know if it’s limited to the beta track or not.
Either way, it does seem that Google is doing away with GameSnacks on Android Auto, but we’ll have to wait and see if this change makes its way to the stable track, as new Android Auto versions are rolling out to stable users now.
