Ever wanted to experience the Jeopardy set in real life? Jeopardy! Daily on Apple Arcade gets you pretty close, if you have an Apple Vision Pro.
A couple days ago on September 4, some new games Jeopardy! Daily, a new game that lets you play a daily set of boards as if you were a contestant on the real game.
The game supports Apple TV. However, if you are playing on an Apple Vision Pro, the game really comes to life! You can play the game inside a virtual environment of the Jeopardy! set, positioned as if you were really a contestant on the show. Check out the gallery below:
Regardless of what device you use to play the game, there are many fun options provided. The first main game mode, Boards, resembles the standard Jeopardy! game where you choose a category, and then choose clues for a certain dollar value. You can also switch between open-ended responses or multiple-choice responses.
The next mode is called Palettes, where you are given five clues and five answers, and you have to match them up. You are allowed three mistakes before the correct answers are revealed.
Finally, there is the Sprints game mode. Here, you start out with the standard Jeopardy! countdown. Each correct answer gives you back a half-bar of time, but a wrong answer takes away a full bar of time. You can keep answering until you run out of time.
Final Thoughts
I think this is a really fun game. It’s the closest one I’ve seen to the original TV game, and I appreciate the balance of difficulty with the open-ended and multiple-choice options. It is, of course, particularly fun on Apple Vision Pro since you can play standing where a real contestant would stand!
Jeopardy Daily! joins over 200 games on Apple One bundle. It includes over 200 games with no ads or in-app purchases, and new games are added all the time. You can get Jeopardy Daily! on the App Store here.
