Today, Microsoft announced a killer bundle for Gears of War fans. Anyone that purchases the upcoming Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will receive the entire Gears collection via Xbox One Backward Compatibility. This includes the original game, 2, 3 and Judgement. All you’ll need to do is play the Ultimate Edition game between the August 25th launch date and December 31st to unlock the older titles as a digital download.
Xbox One Backward Compatibility was announced this spring at E3 and will be available to the public in the fall. If you’re into Gears of War, this is perfect opportunity to enjoy the previous generation games all on one console. There are a few different opportunities for pre-ordering Gears of War: Unlimited Edition, here are your options:
