Update (9/16 4:15pm): LA and Orange County Prime Now customers can get $20 off  purchases of $50 or more right now using code LATRYNOW

We have some interesting announcements from Amazon for its Prime members today. An extended free trial of the Washington Post is now available and the Sex and the City gang will be making a return on Amazon’s streaming service, as southern California residents get access to the company’s one-hour delivery:

The Washington Posts monthly digital subscription normally costs $9.99, but now Amazon Prime members will get free access for 6 months, plus a sweet discount from there on. After that, the digital access will only cost $3.99 a month, which is about a 60% savings over the usual asking price. Prime members can access the digital version on the right here.

Next up, Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes will be making their triumphant return as Amazon is now offering its Prime members the entire series of Sex and the City at no additional charge. Starting today, members can stream all six seasons in the Amazon Video app or online. The entire series is also available for download on iOS, Android and Kindle Fire devices for offline viewing.

Sex and the City became one of the most popular shows on TV over its six season run, and we are excited today to give our Prime members access to every episode to watch anytime, anywhere as part of their membership…”
