Official details on the 2025 Target Black Friday sale have just been revealed. While we are still awaiting a complete picture of its end of the month offering, and it is still running a Halloween sale at the moment, we do have official information on what to expect throughout the month of November, and it all kicks off this Sunday. Head below for for the first details on the 2025 Target Black Friday sale.
Target has now issued an official press release regarding its November plans in the lead up to Black Friday 2025. Starting this weekend, the national retailer will be transforming each of its nearly 2,000 stores into “nostalgic Alpine Villages filled with festive décor, surprises and for the first time.” The in-store experience will include an 8-foot tall lovable Get-Ready Yeti helper apparently, alongside “weekend events in each store” and a “reimagined digital app that “will also offer inspiration and holiday shopping for consumers wherever and whenever they choose to shop.”
But let’s dig into the Black Friday deals.
When does the Target Black Friday sale start?
As of right now Target isn’t giving up any specifics on its actual Thanksgiving or Black Friday sale outside of the following:
- Target Black Friday sale starts online Thursday, November 27 and in stores Friday, November 28.
But we do have some additional details pertaining to its month-long sale events, Deals of the Day, and more:
- Deal of the Day: Up to to 50% off a selection of gear exclusively its free-to-join Target Circle program
Guests will find big savings on Target owned brands — from Yeti stuffed animal — plus top national brands including Apple, Dyson, Ninja and Disney.
- Weeklong deals: Every Sunday starting on November 2 and carrying right through until December 24
Target will roll out hundreds of fresh deals. Guests can preview upcoming offers every Friday in the Target Weekly Ad.
- Early Black Friday Sale: Target 3-day early Black Friday sale will go live on November 6 and carry through until November 8.
…bringing even deeper discounts this year with most at 40% off or higher. In addition to these early Black Friday savings, Target will also offer stock-up deals to help guests save on top groceries and everyday essentials.

- 40% off women & kids’ sweaters, sweatshirts & sweatpants
- 40% off select holiday décor & lights

- 40% off holiday sheets
- Up to 50% off small appliances & floorcare, including Ninja
- Up to 50% off select toys, including Barbie, FAO Schwarz and Hot Wheels
- 30% off womens’ and mens’ Levi’s clothing.
Target Black Friday Price Match Guarantee
This year Target will also be implementing its Holiday Price Match Guarantee. From November 1 through to December 24, Target will be matching its own prices “if they go lower later in the season.”
Guests can save even more with personalized Target Circle offers and get 5% off everyday purchases with the Target Circle Card.
