Tantun Holdings Announces Winners of the Health Insurance AI Hackathon
Tantun Holdings today announced the winners of the Health Insurance AI Hackathon, a professional international competition focused on secure, privacy-preserving AI innovation for the health-insurance sector.
After a competitive round of submissions and review by a panel of judges — Pavel Sheynkman (Ex-PwC Head of AI and Founder of MindFuse Inc.), Dima Shaposhnikov (Ex-PwC Head of Cyber and Co-Founder of MindFuse Inc.), Gennady Shnayderman (Co-Founder, Tantun Holdings), Alex Babadzhanov (Co-Founder, Tantun Holdings), and Nemesio Ortiz (Founder & Principal, Gamma Care) — two projects were declared the winners: HealthBot and The Tokenizer.
Winning Projects
HealthBot: AI Enrollment Assistant
HealthBot simplifies health-plan enrollment while keeping Protected Health Information (PHI) secure. The conversational assistant helps clients navigate complex insurance forms and terminology, reduces redundant data entry for brokers, and minimizes compliance risks.
“ What stood out about HealthBot was how it balanced real usability with deep respect for data privacy,” said Pavel Sheynkman, Ex-PwC Head of AI and Founder of MindFuse Inc. “ It’s the type of innovation we want to see defining the next generation of healthcare technology — where AI doesn’t just automate, it safeguards. ”
The Tokenizer
A privacy-engineering solution providing API-based PHI and PII tokenization, The Tokenizer automatically replaces sensitive identifiers with secure tokens, allowing analytics and AI workflows without exposing personal data.
“ The Tokenizer demonstrates what practical security looks like in AI, ” added Dima Shaposhnikov, Ex-PwC Head of Cyber and Co-Founder of MindFuse Inc. “ It’s a small idea with enormous implications for compliance-driven industries like healthcare and insurance. ”
Judges’ Reflections
“ Seeing how quickly developers could prototype compliant, production-ready AI tools in just two weeks was impressive, ” said Gennady Shnayderman, Co-Founder of Tantun Holdings. “ These projects show that secure AI isn’t just possible — it’s commercially viable, and it’s coming faster than anyone expected. ”
