I always use this when I buy something from Apple but ordering the new iPhone 14 was a disaster as the app refused to make a preorder due to a wrong phone number (or format). Missed all the slots available at the store to pick it up on the day of the release because of this fault. Went to the actual Apple store to get help and even they couldn’t make it work and place an order. Now that preorders are more or less done, it has no issue accepting the same phone number and format that I was trying to put in for another purchase. So, in other words, I got punished by Apple because of the possible fault with the system. Not great, Apple, not great at all
