It’s almost time to return to Camp Half-Blood for Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The story, based on the second novel in Rick Riordan’s mythological series The Sea of Monsters, picks up in Percy’s home in New York City. But, things quickly take a turn when Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) arrives in a rush, wondering if he’s had a foreboding dream about camp.
Turns out, Percy has been having dreams, but not about Camp Half-Blood — about his best friend Grover (Aryan Simhadri). Percy can’t shake the feeling that Grover is in trouble, but first he’ll need to turn his attention to camp, where Luke (Charlie Bushnell) has poisoned the tree that Zeus created from Thalia’s remains, which protect the Camp’s borders from mythical threats.

Percy, Annabeth and Percy’s half brother Tyson (Daniel Diemer) will have to brave the Sea of Monsters in order to save their camp and their friend. But, have no fear, as the trailer ends with Percy proclaiming: “I’m not gonna let some stupid monsters stand in my way.”

The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Daniel Diemer. Tamara Smart will play Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus. Other recurring guest stars include Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus the leader of Camp Half-Blood, Timothy Simons as Tantalus and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, messenger of the gods.
Courtney B. Vance has been recast as Zeus, taking up the mantle from the late Lance Reddick. Sandra Bernhard, Kirsten Schaal and Margeret Cho will portray The Gray Sisters.
