HTMLMediaElement: defaultMuted property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The HTMLMediaElement.defaultMuted property reflects the muted property.
Value
A boolean value. A value of true means that the audio output will be muted by default.
