BLK ODYSSY

New Jersey-born, Austin, Texas-based soul singer/songwriter Juwan Elcock leads Blk Odyssy, a rough-edged R&B project that swings between celebratory smoothness and high-intensity songs of social critique and activist messaging. Elcock drew from his own lived experiences of trauma and joy when writing his 2021 debut album, Blk Vintage. The erotically charged concept album Diamonds & Freaks followed in 2023, as did Live from Gold Diggers. Elcock incorporated bristling rock elements on 1-800 FANTASY, a narrative set released in 2025.
