As host of The ’90s Country Show on Apple Music Country, the Alabama-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter takes listeners back to one of the genre’s most influential decades, revisiting some of the biggest hits from artists who defined the era and continue to inspire country music today. “I grew up on ’90s country—it’s the music that shaped who I am as an artist,” he tells Apple Music. Over the course of six nostalgia-inducing episodes, Green takes listeners on a journey through the years, spotlighting his favourite songs and sharing the impact they’ve made, not only on himself, but on the genre as a whole. “This Apple Music show is a real full-circle moment for me,” he says. “I’m excited to take fans back to that era and maybe introduce a few new folks to the kind of country music that raised me.”
