His producer tag, “Yo Pi’Erre, you wanna come out here?” was echoing across social-media streams just as soon as Playboi Carti’s “Magnolia” took flight. “Yo Pi'erre!”, a song that turns that tag into a battle cry of sorts, retains the regionless bounce of “Magnolia” while giving young Pi’Erre a chance to speak his piece. His sing-rapping works just as well as Carti’s more straightforward flow, Pi’Erre confirming, at least for the immediate future, that he “ain't going nowhere.”
