WASHINGTON – Rep. Gary Condit, the California congressman at the center of the missing-intern mystery, pulled a disappearing act of his own.
The Democrat was listening to witnesses testify before the U.S. House Agriculture Subcommittee on Livestock and Horticulture when he spotted a Post photographer.
He immediately raised his hands to cover his face. About 10 minutes later he got up and left the room.
The parents of Chandra Levy, the missing intern, believe she was having an affair with Condit and are expected to hold a press conference today.
