A 70-year-old Florida man, furious a teenage driver in front of him was taking too long at a drive-through bank, rammed her car three times.
Hugh Allen McMahon was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for hitting a car driven by Nell Davis, 17, at the AmSouth Bank branch in Homosassa.
“He kept yelling out stuff and cussing and saying things like, “Move it,’ ” said Davis, who suddenly felt a bump, and then another, and then another.
“It jerked me forward. “I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’ It was crazy. I don’t know what possessed him to do it.”

Four hundred goats have been hired to eat grass and weeds in California in order to prevent brush fires.
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission has the animals munching their way through vegetation on steep slopes near Redwood City, along a pipeline that delivers drinking water.
Officials are worried overgrown dry brush poses a fire hazard to homes and the pipelines themselves.
Jane Herman, the commission’s rights-of-way manager, said: “We think this will be highly effective. Their little legs take them where no man or mower can go.”

Iranian authorities have approved a law to raise the age at which girls can get married without their parents’ consent to 13 – from the former age of 9.
For boys, the age of consent will go up to 15 from 14.
The decision by Iran’s Expediency Council arbitration body comes amid pressure to cut teenage marriages and ease criticism of Iran’s human rights record.
Iran’s Muslim clerical establishment has promoted marriage as a means to combat what it calls immorality amongst youth.

A woman is suing a Florida deejay for airing a prank call to her in which she revealed embarrassing sexual information.
Adrienne Breidigan of Naples says Bruce “Da Moose” of WBTT, pretending to be a doctor, told her she’d been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease.
She says that after he claimed to have treated her ex-boyfriend for the unnamed disease, she burst into tears, fearing she might have a potentially life-threatening illness.
The deejay then asked her sexual history.
“They were asking . . . have I done this and have I done that. Then they said something like [a particular sex act] was any good, and I said what does that have to do with anything?” she said.
