BURT AND MARTY: Luchino Visconti’s spectacular “The Leop ard” copped the Palm d’Or at the 1963 Cannes Film Festival, but this Italian “Gone With the Wind” starring Burt Lancaster, Alain Delon and Claudia Cardinale – and featuring a leng endary, hourlong banquet scene – was drastically cut and badly dubbed for American release. Martin Scorsese will be introducing a rare print of the 180-minute, subtitled, original version tomorrow at the Lake Placid Film Festival in Lake Placid, N.Y., which runs through Sunday and is also pre senting several of Scorsese’s films, as well as a notable ros ter of new independent and foreign titles.
