ARMS DEALER’S COURTLY GESTURE

A notorious Syrian arms dealer who built a vast fortune arming terrorists around the globe thought he was facing a higher power in Manhattan yesterday, addressing a federal judge as “my lord.”

The spectacularly wealthy Monzer al Kassar was extradited from Spain and haughtily pleaded his innocence to plotting to kill American troops.

Kassar belted out a booming, “Not guilty!” to charges of agreeing to supply $8 million worth of weaponry and a small army of men to terrorists battling US military in Colombia.

Kassar was plucked from his palatial estate in Marbella, Spain, last year following a DEA sting operation.

Magistrate Judge Kevin Fox ordered Kassar held without bail.
