‘O’ FOR OPTIMISTIC

Two-thirds of young Americans say Barack Obama‘s election makes them optimistic about the country’s future, according to a new poll. Despite the sagging economy, people born between 1980 and 1990 remain confident about what 2009 has in store for them – and 67 percent credit Obama’s election. The survey was conducted on behalf of the Pepsi Optimism Project.
