Dec. 5 – James Mulligan gave a whole new meaning to puppy love when he proposed to Nicole Coticelli. In 2007, Coticelli, a claims administrator for K-Sea Transportation, came home to find her dog wearing a sign that read, “Mommy. Daddy has to ask you a question.” The bride-to-be turned the corner to find Mulligan, a team manager at the bank of New York Mellon, down on one knee. More than a year later, the Staten Island pair wed at Jericho Terrace in Mineola, where 150 guests joined them for a candle-lit reception.
