Knick star Eddy Curry is the father of the infant girl who was killed along with the hoopster’s ex-girlfriend last week, it was reported yesterday.
DNA tests taken in September show Curry to be the biological father of the 10-month-old girl named Ava, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The child and Curry’s ex, Nova Henry, 24, were found shot to death in Henry’s apartment on Saturday.
Curry and Henry also had a 3-year-old son, Noah, who was found unharmed at the scene.
Curry has not publicly acknowledged being Ava’s father.
The boy is currently living with his grandmother, but may be placed in Curry’s custody.
Court documents show that the Knick had been paying Henry $6,000 a month in child support, which was increased to $15,000 a month when it was determined that he was Ava’s father, according to the Sun-Times.
The paper also said she has the same last name as a man being questioned about the killings.
Henry had taken out an order of protection against the man in 2007. It was dismissed 11 days later.
