Psychic detective – Allison (Patricia Arquette) tries to help Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) solve the recent murder of his friend’s sister, but her dreams tell her that the friend’s first husband, Nathan, who died in a car accident two years ago, is somehow involved. The case takes an unexpected turn once she learns more about the woman’s current husband, Joel. Meanwhile, Allison’s daughter, Bridgette (Maria Lark), is sent to the principal’s office for drawing nude pictures of her art teacher. Jake Weber also stars.

HEROES, Monday, 9 p.m., NBC

Power failure – The winter season of “Heroes” begins with some of the super group learning to live without their powers. Hiro (Masi Oka) is one of them. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) goes back to driving a taxi. Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) goes back to saving lives and Matt (Greg Grunberg) tries to live a normal life. Claire (Hayden Panettiere) can’t go back to being a cheerleader just yet, though. She uncovers a deadly plot orchestrated by Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) to track down and capture those who still have abilities. Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) begins the search for his real parents.

GOSSIP GIRL, Monday, 8 p.m., CW

Night to remember – After Chuck (Ed Westwick) wakes up in a hotel and can barely remember what happened the previous evening – and who he spent it with. Nate (Chace Crawford) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) try to help him fill in the missing pieces of what is turning out to be an increasingly intriguing mystery. Meanwhile, school rebel Blair (Leighton Meester) hatches a plan to bring down her teacher, Rachel (Laura Breckenridge). Blake Lively and Penn Badgley also star.

Countdown to warfare – President Taylor (Cherry Jones) faces extreme pressure as U.S. troops remain in position in Africa. The terrorist Dubaku (Hakeem Kae-Kazim), who has put two planes on a crash course above Washington, D.C., seeks another biological target in Ohio using the CIP module. Paranoid FBI Agent Janis Gold (Janeane Garofalo) commands from her post, while Jack, Tony (Carlos Bernard), Renee (Annie Wersching, Chloe (Mary-Lynn Rajskub) and Buchanan (James Morrison) follow leads.

HOUSE, Monday, 8 p.m., Fox

Unhappy ‘House’ – House (Hugh Laurie) and the team take on the case of a woman who collapsed in the middle of a cooking class, and they soon learn she is a cancer researcher who gave up her career to pursue her own personal happiness. Though the team struggles to understand how the woman could give up saving lives for the sake of her own contentment, each grapple with the pursuit of happiness in their own lives. Meanwhile, Thirteen’s (Olivia Wilde) as she begins to suffer life-threatening reactions to the experimental Huntington’s Disease clinical trial. Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) attempts to make House’s life miserable.

GREY’S ANATOMY, Thursday, 9 p.m., ABC

A ‘Grey’ proposal- It only took a million years, but Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) is finally-finally-going to propose to Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). He even has the ring. Now all he needs is the perfect venue to pop the question. Meanwhile, Meredith’s half-sister, Lexie, tells plastic surgery stud Mark (Eric Dane) that she wants him to announce to the medical community that they are dating. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) considers a new career path.

REALITY

TIARAS AND TODDLERS, Tuesday, 10 p.m., TLC

Little Lolitas – The first annual Miss Georgia Spirit pageant is an occasion for local twisted stage moms and dads to put their little darlings on display. The chief rivals for the crown are Story, who struts her stuff in full makeup and a glitzy costume, and Kayleigh, who favors a more age-appropriate, natural look. The vote is so close that one of the pint-sized beauty queen’s parents demands a recount.
