HOLDER WANTS LEWIS’ EXIT

The overseer of $20 billion in Connecticut retirement money is joining in the growing shareholder movement to boot Bank of America CEO Ken Lewis and the board of directors.

Connecticut State Treasurer Denise Nappier — who runs Connecticut’s $20 billion pension fund, which owns 3.2 million BofA shares — said investors have “lost confidence” in Lewis and the board after it bought Merrill Lynch.

BofA’s annual shareholders meeting is next Wednesday.
