Sarandon, Goodman to Stand By Pacino in Kevorkian Film

Susan Sarandon and John Goodman will be joining Al Pacino in the upcoming HBO biopic of Jack Kevorkian titled “You Don’t Know Jack,” reports

The movie will follow Pacino, who hasn’t done a TV show since 2003’s “Angels in America,” as the notorious “Dr. Death” establishes the Mercy Machine and performs assisted suicides on his patients.

Goodman will play Kevorkian’s friend and co-worker Nicol and

Sarandon will play Janet Good, an activist who assists Kevorkian and ultimately turns to him when she is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Kevorkian went to prison in 1999 as a result of his involvement in an assisted suicide that was videotaped and later shown on “60 Minutes.” He served eight years.
