New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine’s popularity is at an all-time low, and his Republican challenger has widened his lead to 12 percentage points, according to a poll released yesterday. Republican Chris Christie would trounce Democrat Corzine, 53 percent to 41 percent, the Quinnipiac University Poll found.
