Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies, above left, with Chris Noth) is a politician’s wife. Loyal and steadfast, she is shaken to the core when her husband (Noth) is sent to prison for his involvement in a scandal that included one mistress. Alicia decides to go back to work to support her children and gets a job as a junior associate at a law firm. She has to compete with younger attorneys, deal with a manipulative boss (Christine Baranski), and address allegations that her husband is giving her inside information on a trial. Civilian volunteers who work on murder cases involving unidentified victims are the characters on Jerry Bruckheimer’s new drama, “The Forgotten.” Led by Alex Donovan (Christian Slater), the members of this network — known as “The Forgotten” — must solve the puzzle of the victim’s identity in order to catch the killer. Donovan’s colleagues include Lindsey, a teacher who volunteers as an act of contrition for a crime committed by her husband, Tyler, a medical school dropout who is ordered to join the Network to satisfy his community service; and Grace Russell (Rochelle Aytes), a detective with the Chicago Police. First up is the case of “Highway Jane,” a young woman murdered and left in the woods.
