Nothing boasts “I just got back from a sweet trip” quite like the “vacation beard.” It’s bold. It’s triumphant. And undeniably a bit badass.
Jon Stewart did it, returning to “The Daily Show” with a graying goatee. So have scores of guys everywhere ’round New York. But it’s never easy. Bosses, wives, girlfriends, job interviews and life in general can come between a guy and his facial hair, causing many men to fold, running for their razors.
Here are three guys who sported proud vacation beards this summer, and lived to tell the tale.
