Disgraced EMT pulls ‘shoplift’

A disgraced EMT facing criminal charges after allegedly ignoring a pregnant woman while she lay dying in a Brooklyn cafe is in hot water again.

Melisa Jackson, 25, was arrested Monday after she allegedly swiped $49 worth of cosmetics from a Walmart in Westbury, LI, police said. Jackson was charged with petit larceny and released.

She was suspended for 30 days without pay immediately following her arrest, said an FDNY spokesman.

Jackson still faces criminal charges in Brooklyn from an incident in December 2009, when she and fellow EMT Jason Green allegedly ignored Eutisha Rennix, 25, a worker at an Au Bon Pan café, while she was having a fatal asthma attack.

Rennix later died, as did her premature baby.
