Georgina Bloomberg is clearly her father’s daughter — at least when it comes to loving this city. But the mayor and his young progeny, 28, have differed on some issues in the past, like her profession as a horse jumper, and, we imagine, her 2003 comment in an HBO documentary that “having the last name Bloomberg sucks.” Still, they find time to dine together at “his favorite restaurant,” Viand Coffee Shop. “It’s a cliquey place, but I also love the food there,” says Georgina, who recently published a young-adult novel, “The A Circuit,” which bears a suspicious resemblance to her own life: It’s about a young New York woman who’s “an award-winning equestrian” with a billionaire dad. Fortunately, the mayor gave it a thumbs-up. This summer finds Bloomberg, whose mother Susan Brown divorced from her dad in 1993, planning a move from her downtown digs to the Upper West Side because her three dogs “need grass!” and lower Manhattan is just too darn stylish. “I want to be able to roll out of bed and be in my sweatpants and take the dogs for a walk.” This is her New York. — SARA STEWART

“This is my favorite restaurant in New York. I love places where I can just walk in without a reservation. When I get a night out, I want to get as many friends together as possible, and it’s usually a last-minute thing, so restaurants where you have to book a month ahead are out of the question. Mexican Radio will always accommodate a big group for a few drinks and amazing food — I get the huevos rancheros.”

“I interned in the graphic design department here after I graduated from high school, and that was when I fell in love with it. I used to get to just wander around on my own during breaks. Every day I would discover something new. I go back as much as I can to visit my favorite painting — Rosa Bonheur’s ‘The Horse Fair.’ ”

“The thing I’m going to miss most about living downtown is shopping at all the little jewelry stands. I love finding really unique and inexpensive pieces, and also being able to support jewelry makers who haven’t been able to sell their things in a store yet. Almost all my jewelry comes from these stands. You never know what you’ll find.”

“Sports is something my Dad and I always bond over. When we both have a free night, we’re like, ‘You bet!’ Sometimes I have to leave early, but he usually stays. I tell him, ‘You have to stay.’”

“This is the place to stock up on pretty and inexpensive kitchenware. My mom finds all her mugs and plates here. I always find things, from shoes to painted chopsticks, that I just have to have. And if you need to get a present for somebody, it’s a great place to just walk around.”

“I’m a huge sports fan — Rangers or Knicks! We have season tickets, so if my dad and I are free, we always try to go to a game. I don’t know which he prefers, basketball or hockey. Whichever’s the shortest, probably! And he always gets popcorn. This past January, I also went to MSG for the professional bull riding, which was one of the best events I have seen there. I’m a big fan of bull riding and have followed it for years.”

“I come here for jeans, and to find unusual pieces. I always like to stand out a little — I’ve never been someone who tries to fit in or look like everyone else. I was a big tomboy as a kid, but now I love getting dressed up.”

“I love bowling and am pretty good at it. I like competitive things and activities, as opposed to just sitting around. You can go here day or night, and not have little kids running around, but it’s still unpretentious and low-key.”
