East-wood drives for the green

Clint Eastwood knows his limitations — and they apparently don’t include media startups.

The 81-year-old Hollywood legend is investing an untold amount of his Tinseltown fortune to launch a golf lifestyle network called the Back9Network.

The Hartford, Conn.-based network is expected to tee off by Memorial Day, said CEO James Bosworth.

Bosworth, a golfing partner of the star, whose handicap is 13.5, said the network — to be distributed via mobile devices and television — will “highlight the fun, hip and sexy aspects of golf.”

It includes celebrity golf events, titans critiquing their game, comedy/dramas set on golf courses and golf reality shows and golf course romances.

Eastwood owns a golf club in Carmel, Calif., and is an investor in the famed Pebble Beach course.
