Cowboys WR Ogletree to visit Giants

One day after signing tight end Martellus Bennett from the Cowboys the Giants are showing interest in another player out of Dallas. Kevin Ogletree, a 24-year old receiver with local ties, will visit the Giants on Thursday, according to ESPN.

Hey, everyone always says the Cowboys have talent.

Ogletree, a product of Holy Cross High School in Queens, is a 6-1, 190-pound receiver who in three seasons with the Cowboys caught 25 passes for 294 yards and no touchdowns. This past season, Ogletree had 15 receptions for 164 yards. He only played in one of the two games against the Giants and in the Dec. 11 game at Cowboys Stadium, Ogletree had one kickoff return for 25 yards.

The Giants, who know that No. 3 receiver Mario Manningham won’t be back, must believe he has untapped potential as a receiver and also as a special teams contributor.
