The Jets announced on Tuesday that they re-signed second-year wide receiver Scotty McKnight, who was a childhood friend of quarterback Mark Sanchez.
The Jets drafted McKnight in the seventh round of the 2011 Draft and he was assigned to the practice squad, but tore his ACL and was put on injured reserve on Nov. 1.
McKnight finished first in Colorado history with 215 receptions and 22 receiving touchdowns.
