NJ Transit buses slowly getting back on schedule after disabled tractor-trailer in Lincoln Tunnel snarled traffic

NJ Transit buses headed to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City are slowly getting back on schedule.

They were running up to an hour late before officials removed a disabled tractor-trailer from the Lincoln Tunnel.

For a time, NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. says buses were diverted to Secaucus Junction, Newark Penn Station and Hoboken.

NJ Transit and PATH trains honored bus tickets.
