Semen not only carries sperm, it also triggers a woman’s brain to produce an egg to fertilize, a new study shows.
Scientists at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada used two species, llamas and cattle, in their study.
“We now know that [semen produces] large amounts of a protein that has a direct effect on the female,” said researcher Gregg Adams.
