What a ‘$hark’ domain is worth

‘Shark Tank” meanie Kevin O’Leary doesn’t like it when people try to squeeze him.

So the millionaire investor turned the tables on a money-hungry opportunist who wanted almost $200,000 for rights to the Web domain KevinOLeary.com.

“I negotiated with him for like a year,” he tells The Post. “The guy was a ‘Shark Tank’ fan. He wanted a fortune for it.

“I said, ‘Hey, there is only one guy interested in it — me!’”

O’Leary — who refers to himself on the show as “Mr. Wonderful” — then tracked down the owner of another domain, OLeary.com, and pitted the two against each other.

“I said, ‘Guys, we are going to do a dutch auction here. I will keep lowering the price until somebody jumps,’” he remembers.

The deal closed last August for $15,000.

“And the other guy got nothing,” O’Leary says.

“I phoned up and said, ‘Hey, you’re an a – – hole.’”

O’Leary says he is not interested in placing an offer on MrWonderful.com, which is currently being offered for $14,795.
