The Who: It may have been a quiet or slow Sunday for some, but the fashion shows must go on and that means all the big name editors were in attendance, from Harper’s Bazaar’s Glenda Bailey to W magazine’s Stefano Tonchi.
The What: Luscious American sportswear with a crafty twist might be the best way to explain Lam’s fall collection. The sportswear came in neutral colors (camel, black, white and blue) of cashmere and wool in easy-to-wear coats, capes and trousers. The craftwork came through in patchwork leather and suede or crochet detail dresses and skirts.

he Highlight: While the clothing was simply chic, I couldn’t take my eyes off the seductive shoes, specifically the black pointy wedges with black and clear ankle strap detail.
The Takeaway: Expect to see full looks and key pieces in all the fashion magazines and on all the fashionable New York ladies come this fall.
