Nasty phone calls from an accused father-son pimp team were played at a Manhattan sex-trafficking trial yesterday, featuring the son warning a hooker that he’ll knock out her teeth and “wax” her behind if she doesn’t do his bidding.
“Go get more money, OK? Don’t make me wait this long again,” Vincent George Jr. tells the woman, according to a phone call recorded in January 2012.
George and his father, Vincent Sr., are accused of coercing the woman, admitted prostitute Dorthea Ellis, and four other hookers into turning tricks. But all five women plan to testify on the Georges’ behalf that they were willing and well-compensated employees, defense lawyers have promised.
George Jr. repeatedly calls Ellis a “bitch” on the tape, which concludes with him berating her for not calling him quickly after the bust.
“Check in at the appropriate time,” George Jr. warns her at one point. “Or I’m waxing your ass in the morning. Got that?”
The sergeant told Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ruth Pickholtz — who is trying the case without a jury — that he witnessed numerous prostitutes soliciting clients outside and in the bars of Manhattan hotels.
The father and son face up to 25 years in prison if convicted of the top sex- trafficking charge.
