How did this beauty win among these beasts?!
Walle, a cute, 4-year-old mutt inexplicably snagged the title of World’s Ugliest Dog on Friday, beating out a rogues’ gallery of hideous hounds.
Contestants in the 25th annual contest in Petaluma, Calif., included Penny, a pug with a tongue nearly as long as its body; Sophia, a ghastly chihuahua mix; and Scamp, a monstrous mutt with an underbite, wild gray mohawk and tufts of black and beige hair.
Upset winner Walle — a beagle, basset and boxer mix — wowed the judges with his duck-waddle gait, humped back, and disproportionate features.
“This dog looked like he’s been Photoshopped with pieces from various dogs and maybe a few other animals,” said judge Brian Sobel.
