CEO to design yoga-inspired line for Alice + Olivia

Watch out Lululemon.

Alice + Olivia CEO and creative director Stacey Bendet has her eye on designing yoga duds.

She knows what yogis like — and has the Instagram account to prove it.

The petite designer has spent 15 years in Ashtanga yoga training, practices every morning at 4:30 and has an Instagram account full of videos of her bending into seemingly impossible contortions.

So it’s perhaps no surprise the designer has crafted her own workout gear, which she may turn into a collection in the future.

“I have little bodysuits that I’ve made for myself,” she tells Threads. “I’m definitely going to do a sexy, feminine version of a yoga line at some point…sexier shapes that are functional, but that you can wear out from yoga class.”

In other words, taking you from om to ooh la la.
