The news that Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first-degree murder, while not wholly unexpected, still rocked the NFL world on Wednesday.
Some players and former players expressed sympathy for Odin Lloyd, the 27-year-old victim, while the consensus tweeted brief statements of shock, that a player who starred in the league as recently as 2012 may now spend the rest of his lifetime behind bars.
