Russian oligarch lists $88M Central Park penthouse

The Russian billionaire who bought former Citigroup Chairman Sandy Weill’s penthouse apartment in 2011 for a record price is now reselling it, The Post has learned.

Dmitry Rybolovlev paid $88 million — making the most expensive residential purchase ever in the city at the time — for the 10-bedroom penthouse at 15 Central Park West for his college-age daughter. The Russian oligarch has just put the property up for sale, a source close to the situation told The Post.

In May, Rybolovlev won an appeal of a $4.5 billion divorce settlement with his wife, Elena, and they reportedly agreed at the time not to sell the pad.

A Rybolovlev family spokesperson told On The Money that Dmitry’s daughter, Ekaterina Rybolovleva, who was 21 at the time,  had purchased the posh digs.

The sale might be difficult at a high asking price in what has been a quickly declining New York City residential real estate market, a source says.

Two recent purchases at One57 have since unseated the penthouse as NYC’s priciest residence.

Rybolovlev could not be reached by press time.
