A Long Island Railroad train slammed into a truck on the tracks Tuesday afternoon, MTA officials said.
The smash-up on the Ronkonkoma line happened at around 1 p.m. at Elijahs Lane in Mattituck in Suffolk County.
One person who was in the truck was being tended to by paramedics at the scene, MTA officials said.
Four passengers were aboard the train at the time, and none were injured, the MTA added.
It is so far unclear why the truck was on the tracks.
Officials said the agency is bringing in buses to help transport passengers along the Ronkonkoma line, where service is now delayed.
