The Lakers are investigating claims of harassment made against two of their players, according to an ESPN report.
Lakers guards Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson reportedly were among a group of four men who allegedly pulled their Jeep up alongside another vehicle and began harassing the two women in the other car. The harassment included “vulgar, sexual” gestures, according to the report.
Ironically, one of the victims was Alexis Jones, co-founder of the nonprofit I Am That Girl, which among other pursuits seeks to educate athletes and prevent them from committing sexual harassment, sexual abuse and domestic violence. Jones reported the other woman in the car was her 68-year-old mother, who she said was “super rattled” and “really shocked.”
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Hollywood, according to the report. Jones took photos of the men on her phone and posted them to Instagram, where commenters quickly identified Young and Clarkson.
