Nearly two dozen defendants – including reputed mobsters – were indicted for their involvement in a $15 million bicoastal marijuana trafficking ring and an online gambling scheme, authorities said.
The accused ringleaders of the cross-country drug operation John Kelly, 52, and alleged Bonanno associate Richard Sinde, 51, coordinated the shipment of hundreds of pounds of medical-grade marijuana from California to New York, according to the Manhattan district attorney’s office.
