Sex tape scandal can’t keep Von Miller from playing NFL Santa Claus

Broncos star linebacker Von Miller wants his rivals in the AFC West to drink and be merry this Christmas — sending every single player on the Raiders, Chiefs and Chargers a custom bottle of wine recently to show how much he enjoys planting them in the dirt.

“It is an honor and a privilege to take the field and compete with you twice a year,” the 27-year-old wrote in a personal thank you note, which accompanied each of the estimated 250 bottles of vino.

“We are so fortunate to have this opportunity to fulfill our childhood dreams of playing in the NFL,” he said, according to the Denver Post.

“The blood, sweat, aches and pains, and endless hours spent watching film are a testament to the love and dedication we have for this game. So take a moment, reflect on all your successes, and enjoy your accomplishment. Appreciate those who have helped you get this far, and start working towards your next childhood dream.”

The football star has been caught up in a sex tape controversy as of late after he filed a lawsuit last month claiming Instagram model Elizabeth Ruiz was using a video they made together to extort him for over $2.5 million.

The wine — dubbed “The Setting” — was made by Boulder native Jesse Katz, who also created a custom blend for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding.

Each bottle was hand-crafted and adorned with an orange outline of Miller’s signature eyeglasses. Every single person who plays in the division got one, including practice-squad players and even those on injured reserve, the Post reports.

“Thank you for helping to make our game great!” Miller concluded.

But Ruiz claims she never wanted a dime from Miller — and only kept the tape because she wanted to use it to masturbate.

“I used it to play with myself,” she told TMZ.

The Broncos are set to clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday. They are currently in third place behind the Chiefs and Raiders.
