Draymond Green ripped again for Dolan ‘slave-master’ blast

NEW ORLEANS — No wonder Draymond Green is starting to back off saying James Dolan has a “slave-master mentality.”

In ripping Charles Oakley, former NBA veteran Olden Polynice admonished Green, saying the comment was an insult to actual slaves.

“The next time Draymond wants to put his foot in his mouth, at least take the shoes that have been stepping on dog poop off first,’’ Polynice told FOX Sports Radio. “You are not in a position to make such a comment, at all. You’re not privy to anything that’s been going on. You just don’t know.

“You’re too young. And for you to throw that out there so flippant like that, it’s a disgrace and disservice to all the men, women and children, that were enslaved.”

With a wave of NBA players sticking up for Oakley, Polynice backed the remarks former NBA player Mike James of Long Island told The Post in Friday’s editions. James, in New Orleans for a Christian-athlete award, urged Oakley to change his bullying persona in retirement.

“Everybody in this situation needs to do one thing, and that’s grow up,’’ Polynice said. “Oakley did his thing when he played in the league. Yes, he was a bully. He was a ‘tough guy.’ But you know what? You’re not playing anymore. You’re done. Move on. OK? Move away. You can’t be a bully your whole life. OK? And if you gotta to be a bully, you gotta be able to bully everybody. Not just little people. OK? Which is what bullies do. They go after people that are weaker than them. And so to me, that’s not fair, and it’s not right for someone like a Draymond Green to make a statement like that.”

Green admitted Friday his remark “came off the wrong way.”
