A Brooklyn woman has filed suit against an award winning spa–claiming she was sexually assaulted by a masseur during a deep tissue massage.
The woman, whose name is being withheld, was at The Green Spa and Wellness Center in Bay Ridge redeeming a birthday gift when an employee known only as “Ilya” took things too far, according to the Brooklyn Supreme court lawsuit.
The waitresses’ February massage was going normally, the papers say, until “Ilya” began “massaging her buttocks under the sheet. As she resisted, he began rubbing her genitals, the complaint states.
He then suddenly pulled down the sheet, exposing her breasts, and began “roughly” massaging them and “pinching [her] nipples.”
“Ilya” then strong-armed her onto her back and sexually assaulted her for 10 minutes while holding her down on the table, the papers read.
Afterward, he horrifyingly wiped the hand he’d used to assault her across her face.
As he left, the masseuse vilely said he “hopes she felt better now.”
Afterward, when the woman attempted to flee the establishment, she found her assailant standing ominously behind the counter, from where he gave her a “creepy stare,” the suit says.
The NYPD Special Victims Unit is currently investigating, according to the court papers, which cites negligent hiring and battery.
The Green Spa, whose website ​boasts their facilities were voted the “#1 Wellness Center in America by Dayspa Magazine,” did not return a message.
