Buddy Fletcher on hook for $3M over failed discrimination suit

Struggling hedge fund manager Alphonse “Buddy” Fletcher’s failed race discrimination lawsuit against his former co-op, the famed Dakota on Central Park West, could cost him over $3 million.

That’s the amount in fees lawyers for the building — which is also home to Yoko Ono — are asking a judge to award them for six years of litigation.

The Dakota’s insurance company already ponied up $4.6 million, according to court filings.

Fletcher lost the suit — in which he claimed the board was biased when it refused to sell him another unit in the W. 72nd St. landmark — in 2015 on a summary judgment motion before it went to trial.

A judge held on hearing on the fees this week and will issue a decision on the final amount in the coming days.

Fletcher could not immediately be reached for comment. He also owes investors $50 million after losing his hedge funds to bankruptcy.
