Fight breaks out over wrong idea about man’s ‘sausage’: cops

A Florida woman’s boyfriend landed in jail after he got jealous of another man’s sausage.

Eddie Maldonado, 28, works with his girlfriend Nancy Miranda at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in St. Augustine, Florida.

Miranda was talking to another employee, Esteban Parra, last week when Maldonado walked in.

The two were allegedly discussing meats, specifically sausage, which Maldonado assumed were sexual innuendos, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

Parra, 26, told authorities that Maldonado accused him of having a “sexual conversation with his girlfriend.”

The men accompanied by their manager took the conversation outside, where Parra said he unsuccessfully tried to explain the misunderstanding, but was “continually interrupted.”

Parra said he started heading back inside when Maldonado placed him in a choke hold.

“[Maldonado] refused to let loose and had to be separated by a manager,” the police report said.

Maldonado was arrested and charged with battery. He was released on $500 bond.
