Things got unexpectedly steamy for Sen. Ted Cruz on Monday, when his official Twitter account was caught “liking” an X-rated porn video.
In the clip posted by a porn-video account called @SexuallPosts, a blond woman who vaguely resembles Cruz’s wife, Heidi, enthusiastically watches as two naked people have sex on a couch.
Cruz, a Republican from Texas, is known for his strong religious convictions and family values stance — and once even supported a ban on sex toys.
Cruz unliked the video after about an hour early Tuesday.
A call and email to Cruz’s spokesperson was not returned.
