Feds arrest suspected Bronx bomb-maker

The feds on Wednesday collared a Bronx man accused of using his house as a bomb-making factory, according to law enforcement sources.

Richard Laugel who had been on the lam since his home was raided Tuesday, was found in an apartment in New York he allegedly used as a “drug mill,” a federal source said.

On Tuesday Department of Homeland Security officials raided Laugel’s Palmer Avenue house on a tip drugs were being manufactured there, but they instead found explosive materials and multiple improvised explosive devices, the federal source said.

Guns were also found there, according to other law enforcement sources.

Laugel — who until Wednesday was out on $100,000 bail in a case in which he allegedly tried to blow up a rival drug dealer with a car bomb in 2016 — was in police custody Wednesday night.
